The Story
Now, it is all about the story, right? So, let us talk about the story. The acting in The Importance of Being Earnest proved to be my favourite part of my life. Why? Simply because life learned how to beat me, but in the end, I was able to beat life once again, so I get more time before I get caught in my little game. The best part of the play, is that in the end, I ended up getting an older brother Ernest (who was Jack). Also, Ernest, Gwendolen, Cecily and I would probably get married. That is how you end a story in class (Not like Disney with its happily ever after ending). Now, the part that I dislike the most, is simply the fact that we didn't have enough cucumber sandwiches in the play. You see, bread and butter isn't enough, you need something that can both be a snack or a full meal. You need food that will surprise your guests, but alas, there was none... I think that the best character in the play is me, simply by the fact that without me, we wouldn't be here now talking about the sandwiches and marriage. Now... oh wait... it's lunch time, I shall get some cucumber sandwiches and put on some good old Victorian music to enjoy with you. Hope you enjoyed and goodbye lads!

The People
Let us start with the presentations of the people in my life.
This is Lady Bracknell, who is my Aunt. I call her Aunt Augusta.
She is quite old and she is quite clear about the ways of living, a classical marriage, lots of money and important parents. For her, I always prepare cucumber sandwiches. Mmm, oh sorry, it isn't lunch yet, let's go on. My aunt believes in family suppers and I like to stay away from these boring family reunions. She also lives by the same laws as me in some way, money, power and marriage.
Next is Jack Worthing, Jack is and has been my best friend for quite a while actually, even though he doesn't really respect my eating habits. Jack is one of a kind, found in a handbag, named after a train station, creating his fake brother Earnest, falling in love with Gwendolen. Sometimes I just wonder if he's even real. He's always there for me, even if we have certain arguments. Jack is my best friend. He makes himself called Ernest in town. In the end, we also learn that he is my brother and he is called Ernest.
Gwendolen is my cousin, she is Aunt Augusta's daughter. She is quite an impressive woman, being able to endure my aunt for so long. She is in love with Ernest (a.k.a Jack) and accepts his proposal before Aunt Augusta questions him and finds him unfit. She isn't quite close to me, so I tend to not really "care" about her, only on some occasions.
And for the last, Cecily Cardew, she is the love of my life, the light in my life of darkness. She is Jack's Ward and lives with him in the country. I met her in the disguise of Ernest, which later was revealed that my true identity was Algernon Moncrieff, but I just knew that I would love her until the end and she ended up loving me as Algernon. We are to get married, only with the acceptance of my brother, Ernest (my real brother now). She is all what I stand for.
Me, My life, And My Intentions
Good morning
lads, what's for breakfast? You see, I always eat when I'm hungry, which is
quite often. I'll tell you what I have for you guys, a movie trailer of me, the
rich and handsome Algernon, Jack Worthing, Lady Bracknell, Cecily Cardew,
Gwendolen Fairfax, Miss Prism, Rev. Canon Chasuble, Lane and Merriman. This trailer is one small and basic overview of my life. This is more of an
introduction to my way of life. I live by two simple things, money and
pleasure, which prove to be the hardest things to acquire. With an
intelligent plan, however, I created Bunbury, who liberates and allows me to do these
two life obligations. So now, it is all up to you to keep on with the reading
to find out what I think about the Importance of Being Earnest.
