Let us start with the presentations of the people in my life.
This is Lady Bracknell, who is my Aunt. I call her Aunt Augusta.
She is quite old and she is quite clear about the ways of living, a classical marriage, lots of money and important parents. For her, I always prepare cucumber sandwiches. Mmm, oh sorry, it isn't lunch yet, let's go on. My aunt believes in family suppers and I like to stay away from these boring family reunions. She also lives by the same laws as me in some way, money, power and marriage.
Next is Jack Worthing, Jack is and has been my best friend for quite a while actually, even though he doesn't really respect my eating habits. Jack is one of a kind, found in a handbag, named after a train station, creating his fake brother Earnest, falling in love with Gwendolen. Sometimes I just wonder if he's even real. He's always there for me, even if we have certain arguments. Jack is my best friend. He makes himself called Ernest in town. In the end, we also learn that he is my brother and he is called Ernest.
Gwendolen is my cousin, she is Aunt Augusta's daughter. She is quite an impressive woman, being able to endure my aunt for so long. She is in love with Ernest (a.k.a Jack) and accepts his proposal before Aunt Augusta questions him and finds him unfit. She isn't quite close to me, so I tend to not really "care" about her, only on some occasions.
And for the last, Cecily Cardew, she is the love of my life, the light in my life of darkness. She is Jack's Ward and lives with him in the country. I met her in the disguise of Ernest, which later was revealed that my true identity was Algernon Moncrieff, but I just knew that I would love her until the end and she ended up loving me as Algernon. We are to get married, only with the acceptance of my brother, Ernest (my real brother now). She is all what I stand for.
